About Business Management With Enterprise | BA (hons) in Leeds Beckett University

Course Details

Develop the entrepreneurial flair to kick-start, manage and grow your own business or help an existing enterprise to expand. You will gain a broad understanding of how businesses operate and you will develop the techniques and principles to succeed in today's economic climate. As well as teaching the overall skills, attitudes and behaviours needed in business, this course will recognise your individual promise and help to shape you as a budding and innovative entrepreneur.

This course offers the opportunity to take a ‘sandwich’ year – a year of paid employment in industry which will build your skills and experience. This is usually taken between the second and third year of your degree, typically making your course four years in total. Students who choose the sandwich route find it helps with both their studies and getting a job after graduation. It can build your confidence, contacts, and of course your CV. Leeds Beckett advertise lots of placement opportunities and provide support in helping you find the right placement for you.

Course Benefits

As well as having the option to gain work experience on a placement, you will take part in workshops, enjoy guest lectures by industry visitors and work on a consultancy project within a start-up business.

You will also have access to our Enterprise & Innovation Team, who will offer information, advice and guidance to give you the best possible grounding when taking your next step into a new business venture.

Academic qualification equivalents

Standard 12th qualifications (CBSE/ICSE or State Boards of equivalent)

Grade: Minimum aggregate of 60% and above

English language requirements (one of the below):

• IELTS 6.0 with no skill below 5.5
• All India Senior School Certificate (CBSE) – English Grade 70% 
• Indian School Certificate (Class-XII) (CISCE) – English Grade 70%
